He soon headed a branch of a lender and by 2003 founded Oak Street Financial, Inc. with a lenders license and a license to make FHA and VA loans.
With 23 years of experience he was able to keep his brokerage firm healthy through the economic downturn of 2008 and subsequent years.
Today the firm has four very experienced loan originators.
After graduation, he joined a steamship agency and stevedoring company and spent the next 35 years in that industry.
