I'm a former residential and commercial Mortgage Underwriter with over 16 years experience working for a variety of lenders and credit unions over the course of my career. In 2020 I made the transition to Mortgage Loan Originator in order to use my in depth knowledge and training in a new way in order to help more people and truly enjoy my job and making dreams come true.
I specialize in Conventional, Jumbo, and Commercial Mortgage loan products with expertise in the area of purchasing or refinancing of horse properties, whether business or residential. As a former Jumbo and Conventional Underwriter, I have extensive training and master knowledge in evaluating the Self Employed Borrower, especially those with complicated tax structures and unique situations.

An FHA loan is a mortgage loan that is insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
Essentially, the federal government insures loans for FHA-approved lenders in order to reduce their risk of loss if a borrower defaults on their mortgage payments.
The FHA program was created in response to the rash of foreclosures and defaults that happened in 1930s; to provide mortgage lenders with adequate insurance; and to help stimulate the housing market by making loans accessible and affordable.

These guidelines put the maximum purchase amount for a first mortgage at $417,000 (may be higher, subject to county loan limits) for a single-family dwelling.
