Kurt Scheel founded Legend Mortgage in Phoenix, Arizona in 1994 after a long career in commercial real estate.
With an intimate knowledge of real estate within the valley, Kurt was eager to pare his experience with his financing education (Miami University of Ohio undergrad and Ohio State MBA).
Kurt perceived a need for a more professional, personalized mortgage finance service and designed Legend Mortgage's lending procedures to serve that need.
Kurt now lives in Tubac, Arizona near Tucson where he enjoys hiking in the desert and admiring the unique beauty of southern Arizona's sky mountains.
