Mitchell Mortgage has been serving the home loan needs of our clients in Napa, California for over 26 years. In addition to the beautiful Napa Valley, we are now also located in the lovely communities of Davis and Woodland, California to better serve the residents of Yolo County and the Sacramento region. Although we are located in Northern California, we have clients all over the state and are licensed to provide our personalized home loan services anywhere in the state of California.

Mitchell Mortgage is owned by Michael Mitchell, an independent mortgage broker. As an independent broker, (not tied to a mortgage bank), he has the freedom to find the lowest home loan rates available for his clients. He strives to make the home loan process, simple, straightforward and fast for borrowers seeking a mortgage in the California area.

When you work with Mitchell Mortgage, you receive the personal attention of the broker, Michael Mitchell, not an assistant or a processor. He handles all aspects of your home loan himself.

Michael Mitchell has been working in real estate financing for over 32 years and Broker/Owner of Mitchell Mortgage for over 26 years.
He does his best to make his clients home loan or refinance experience as stress free as possible.
He has the advantage of being an "independent mortgage broker".
This means that he is not tied to a specific bank, so is free to find his clients the lowest rate for which they will qualify for their home loan.
Most mortgage brokers today are actually running an office of agents for a specific mortgage lender.
If you own rental property: Personal tax returns for the last two years and current rental agreements.
If you are counting Child support as income: Copy of divorce settlement; copy of twelve months canceled checks.
If large deposit was a gift: Signed gift letter (lender can supply); copy of gift check; copy of deposit receipt.
Explanation of credit reporting anomalies, including: Late payments; credit inquiries for the last six months; charge offs; collections; judgments and/or liens.
After reaching the conclusion that home ownership was the best path, he guided me through the purchase process and answered every question I had along the way.
