Lois Mulrooney was born in Arizona, raised in California and moved to Salem, Oregon in 1985.
She's worked in management since 1991 and entered the Real Estate Industry, specifically title and escrow, in 1996.
She began her career in the Mortgage Industry in 1998 and started Resident Lending Group, Inc with her husband and partner Sean Mulrooney in 2004.
Lois has always been extremely involved in her community in one capacity or another, recently serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Salem 2006-07, for which she has been a member since 1996.

A loan officer should be the first step when shopping for a home so that the borrower can get a realistic idea of a home price they will qualify for.

The Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program is a home mortgage specifically designed for American Indian and Alaska Native families, Alaska Villages, Tribes, or Tribally Designated Housing Entities.
Section 184 loans can be used, both on and off native lands, for new construction, rehabilitation, purchase of an existing home, or refinance.
An Indian or Alaska Native who will occupy the property as a principal residence and who has met the credit and underwriting standards.
2.250% minimum down payment is required and can be gifted or from a down payment assistance.

Based on this information, the loan officer believes the borrower will be able to secure financing up to a certain amount based on the information being provided.
